Important Visitor Information

Due to Covid-19 the world is not quite the same and things feel a little different for everyone right now. Yorkshire Wildlife Park has introduced some changes to keep you extra safe when visiting. To ensure the safety of both our visitors and staff, we politely ask that you adhere to the new changes and respect 2m social distancing at all times.

Please be aware that as of 2nd December 2020, the South Yorkshire region will be covered by the UK government’s new tier 3 coronavirus restrictions. The park will reopen however the government advises that guests do not travel from outside the region. Please see our FAQs below for more information.

Book Online

To ensure that we can comply with social distancing rules, there will be restrictions on the number of guests that can visit at one time.

Every guest (including Annual Pass holders) must have a pre-booked ticket before visiting!

Children under the age of 3 do not require a ticket!

For staff safety, there will be no facility for on-the-day payment at the ticket kiosks. We also cannot accept any cash transactions on park at this time.

**Please ensure that you book the correct date and time slot as we cannot offer cancelations / refunds or make any amendments after booking!**

Admission Slots

Entry Admission Time Slots are available at 10:00, 11:00 and 12:00.

A 13:30 time slot is also bookable exclusively for annual pass holders.

Your Visit

Please arrive no later than 30 minutes after your designated entry time

The park closes from 3:30pm daily

We are unable to accept any cash payments. We DO accept card payments, contactless and mobile payments (ie Apple Pay) at every location.

Tickets for January onwards will be available to book later in December.

Safety Notice

REMEMBER! If you are showing any Covid-19 related symptoms please stay at home and seek medical help if needed.

We would ask that all guests download the NHS track and Trace App via the App Store or Google Play and scan into the area they visit around the park, all QR codes will be clearly displayed. We would like to thank you in advance of your help and cooperation with this to help keep everyone safe.

Finally, we hope that there will not be a further lockdown or closure of the park however, who knows what the future holds. If a regional spike does occur and the unfortunate situation arises where we do re-close we will contact everyone who has booked tickets via e mail to transfer their booking into a gift voucher.
