YWP reopening measures
Due to Covid-19 the world is not as we know it and things feel a little different for everyone right now. Yorkshire Wildlife Park has introduced some changes to keep you safe when visiting. To ensure the safety of both our visitors and staff, we politely ask that you adhere to the new changes and respect 2m social distancing at all times!
To ensure that we can comply with social distancing rules on our site, there will be restrictions on the number of visitors that can visit at one time. So, we can track numbers, every visitor (including annual pass holders) who enters the park must have pre-booked online. This does not include children under the age of 3, they do not need a ticket simply bring them along with you on the day.
For staff safety, there will be no facility for on the day payment at the ticket kiosks. Therefore, you will need to book your ticket to the park prior to your arrival.
Up to and including July 9th, the following 3 arrival time slots will be availible to pre-book online. You may arrive up to one hour after your allocated arrival time:
9:00 am, 11:30 am & 2:00 pm
From July 10th the below new entry time slots will apply. You may arrive up to one hour after your allocated arrival time:
9am, 10am, 1pm, 2pm & 4pm
When pre-booking you will be required to reserve one of these timed entry slots.
We estimate that most visitors will stay for around 3 hours however you may stay longer. The Park closes at 6:00 pm daily.
We ask that you do not book more than 6 tickets for any day.
**Please ensure that you book the correct date and time slot as we cannot offer refunds or make any booking amendments at this time!**
REMEMBER! If you are showing any Covid-19 related symptoms please stay at home and seek medical help if needed. https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/
Further to the recent Government announcement, YWP re-opened on Monday 15th June exclusively for our Annual Pass Holders and Tuesday 16th June for all guests with a pre-booked reservation. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

What to expect when you visit
Finally, we hope that there will not be a further lockdown or closure of the park however, who knows what the future holds. If a regional spike does occur and the unfortunate situation arises where we do re-close we will contact everyone who has booked tickets via e mail to transfer their booking into a gift voucher.
