Maned Wolves are theĀ largest canid found in South America!

The Maned Wolf may look similar to a Fox or a Wolf, however are closely related to neither! They haveĀ a thick red coat and distinctively long legs whichĀ help them to spot prey above tall grasses in their native habitat. Maned wolves are often solitary animals found across central South America and primarily eat a diet of small mammals, fruits and vegetables.Ā
