Yorkshire Wildlife Park offers one of the most unique conference and meeting venues in South Yorkshire. Located near Doncaster, just 5 minutes from junction 3 of the M18, our Hex Connect conference centre and on-park meeting spaces give you everything you need: modern facilities, flexible capacity from 8 to 300 delegates, and a setting unlike any other.
Break out sessions between lions and polar bears. Take a ranger-led tour after your afternoon workshop. Host a dinner with maned wolves as your backdrop. No hotel meeting room or city-centre conference venue can offer that.
Hex Connect
Hex Connect is our state-of-the-art conferencing facility located at The Yorkshire Hive, adjacent to the Hex Wildlife Hotel. The building is purpose-built for business events, with spaces bathed in natural daylight, a smart decked outdoor area overlooking the Maned Wolf reserve, and all the AV and connectivity you need.
Hex Connect houses two flexible suites:
- Darwin Suite: An adaptable meeting space suited to smaller conferences, training days and workshops.
- Attenborough Suite: Our largest Hex Connect suite, ideal for conferences, presentations and corporate dinners with capacity for up to 200 in theatre style.
Meeting and event spaces within the park
If you want a more immersive setting, our in-park venues put your delegates right in the heart of the wildlife experience.
- Outlook Suite: A private, park-facing meeting space overlooking the glorious sights of Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Flooded with natural light and perfect for focused working days.
- Tsavo Safari Lodge: An African-inspired marquee complete with stage, bar and kitchen, located within the park. Versatile enough for conferences, team-building days, awards dinners and large celebrations.
The Tsavo Lawns adjoin the lodge: a spacious outdoor area surrounded by tropical greenery, ideal for company BBQs, product demonstrations and outdoor breakout sessions.
Make it memorable
No other conference venue in South Yorkshire can offer your delegates a genuine wildlife experience. Add one of the following to your event package:
• Animal Feed — watch a lion or sea lion feeding with expert ranger commentary. Max 40 people.
• Ranger VIP Tour — a 45-minute behind-the-scenes guided tour of the park. Max 20 people.
• VIP Park Talk — a 20-minute expert talk on the park, its animals and conservation work.
These experiences work equally well as an icebreaker before your session starts, a mid-afternoon reward, or a closing activity to end the day on a high.

Situated near Doncaster at Hurst Lane, Auckley DN9 3QY, Yorkshire Wildlife Park is straightforward to reach for delegates travelling from across South Yorkshire and beyond:

Residential Conferences
For overnight or multi-day events, the Hex Wildlife Hotel is located directly adjacent to Hex Connect. Delegates can move between conference sessions and their rooms without leaving the resort.
The hotel offers a range of rooms with views across the park or The Yorkshire Hive, on-site dining, and all the facilities expected of a modern 4-star property. Residential conference packages can include accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner alongside your meeting room hire.
