Boulders Beach has been carefully designed to recreate the unique coastal environment of the African Penguin’s natural habitat. Inspired by the famous Boulders Beach in South Africa, the habitat features sandy shores, rocky beaches, and a stunning pool containing 552,000 litres of water, providing the perfect space for these incredible birds to swim, dive, and display their natural behaviours. Purpose-built nesting areas, shaded retreats, and underwater viewing spaces allow visitors to experience the world of the African Penguin while supporting the highest standards of animal welfare.
