Festival Campsite Facilities

  • 100 Unmarked Grass Tent Spaces Available (max 6 people/6m x 4m tent size)
  • Exclusively for guests attending one, or both, of our Wild Live Concerts
  • Located close to the Wild Live Show Field

  • Campsite Car Parking is nearby, please note no vehicle access is permitted on the Festival Campsite itself

There are no marked or reserved camping pitches. Please be considerate when choosing where to camp, leave space for others, and respect your neighbours, so everyone can enjoy the festival!

Our festival campsite is located close to the Wild Live Show Field within the grounds of Yorkshire Wildlife Park, however, it is not within the main attraction itself.

Use postcode DN4 6TB to access Brockholes Lane via Warning Tongue Lane and follow the signs to Festival Camping.

1 Night Stays

Check In: 12pm – 2pm only

You are welcome to arrive from 10am to enjoy your day on the park before the concert, you will be directed where to park on arrival and can access the Wildlife Park via the Safari Store.

Check Out: By 11am

If you have park entry booked for your day of departure, please move your vehicle to the main YWP car park (postcode DN9 3QY) if you are planning on not departing until after 2pm.

2 Night Festival Weekend Stays

Check In: 10am – 2pm only

Your will be directed where to park on arrival and can access the Wildlife Park via the Safari Store.

Check Out: By 11am

If you have park entry booked for your day of departure, please move your vehicle to the main YWP car park (postcode DN9 3QY) if you are planning on not departing until after 2pm.

The festival campsite is neighbouring the Concert Field, vehicle access to/from the campsite will be completely restricted from 2pm until the end of the concert each day, with the only exception being emergency vehicles. 

PLEASE NOTE – THIS IS NOT THE SAME OFFERING AS THE FORMER CAMP LION CAMPING EXPERIENCE. IT IS DESIGNED TO GIVE YOU A TRUE FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE.

Festival Camping is only available to guests with valid Wild Live Concert tickets:

Saturday 29th August 2026 - £70.00 per single tent space (max 6 people/6m x 4m tent size)

Sunday 30th August 2026 - £70.00 per single tent space (max 6 people/6m x 4m tent size)

2 Night Festival Weekend - £120.00 per single tent space (max 6 people/6m x 4m tent size)

Festival Camping FAQs

No, Festival Camping is a very different offering. Designed to give you a true festival experience – right down to the portable toilets! We would strongly advise all guests to bring a torch.

There are no marked or reserved camping pitches. Please be considerate when choosing where to camp, leave space for others, and respect your neighbours, so everyone can enjoy the festival!

The campsite can be accessed via the Warning Tongue Lane entrance using postcode DN4 6TB.  From here follow the signs to the Festival Camping campsite.  

Due to limited capacity, advanced bookings are essential!

There is no vehicle access permitted on the camping field, all vehicles must park in the designated Campsite Car Park. We have 24-hour security, however, all vehicles and belongings are left at the owners' own risk.

Check In:

For one-night stays, check-in is available 12pm - 2pm on your day of your arrival

For two-night stays, check in is available 10am - 2pm on the Saturday 29th August 2026.

Check Out:

On your day of departure, we ask that you check out by 11am.

As the festival campsite is adjacent to the Wild Live Concert Field, vehicle access to/from the campsite will be completely restricted from 2pm until the end of the concert each day with the only exception being emergency vehicles.

As we are only offering limited stays, we are unable to change dates after booking.  All bookings are non-amendable and non-refundable.

The campsite is located off the Warning Tongue Lane park entrance. The campsite is located in a large field a short drive from the main road. Facilities include basic portable toilets and hot shower facilities. Please be aware that the pot washing area does not have hot water supply.

Your concert ticket includes entry to the Wildlife Park on the day of the concert, you can access the Wildlife Park from 9:45am via the Safari Store, just a short walk from the festival campsite.

Your Wild Live Concert ticket gives you access to the Wildlife Park where we have several cafés and restaurants serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, snacks, and meals throughout the day.  There are also several food and drink options available during the Concert.  If you have forgotten any toiletry or personal hygiene essentials, these can be purchased from the Hex Wildlife Hotel reception in the Yorkshire Hive shopping and dining area at the main entrance to the park.

Breakfast is available at the Breakfast Hut on the campsite daily 8am – 10am.

Yes, there are taps on the camping field and all tap water is suitable to drink unless stated.

Unfortunately, we cannot allow any pets onto the park or campsite.

Camping stoves can be used at least 2.5m from any tent, please ensure that these are kept well away from any children after use.

You can use a raised BBQ but please make sure that you dispose of waste and hot materials correctly. Please do not use any disposable BBQs on the grass due to fire risk.

Campfires or fire pits are not allowed.

Unfortunately, we cannot allow Generators on the Festival Campsite.

There is no WIFI available on the campsite however there is WIFI available on the park.

There are no ATM facilities at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. However, you can pay by card everywhere on-site.  Cashback is available from Safari Store in the Courtyard.

There are no charging points on the campsite so you will need to bring your own portable charging device.

It depends on your network provider; some providers’ signals are better than others. See the coverage map on your providers' website for details.

As the festival camping is only available on the Wild Live concert dates, taking place near to the campsite, there will be noise until approximately 10pm.  We do ask all campers to be respectful of all festival campers and to keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 8am.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park is accessible for guests with mobility restrictions. Please see the Accessibility Statement on our website for more details. The Festival Campsite may not be suitable for some guests with specific accessible needs.

Festival Camping Terms & Conditions

We want everyone to have a fabulous time and our team at Yorkshire Wildlife Park are on hand to ensure that your stay with us is as enjoyable as possible. As we are a family attraction, we ask that our guests staying at our Festival Campsite are mindful of this and remain respectful to staff and fellow guests during their stay.

To ensure all our guests have an enjoyable stay, in accordance with Yorkshire Wildlife Park’s terms and conditions of entry, we would like to remind guests that we reserve the right to remove any guests from the camp site (without a refund) if they are:

  • Caught doing anything illegal (this includes being under the influence of drugs or being in possession of illegal substances).
  • Being disruptive or abusive due to excessive alcohol consumption, drugs and/or any other banned substances.
  • Rude to staff and other guests; and or causing excessive noise and disruption to other camping guests.
