Jungle Lookout Play Area
Explore the woodlands to discover the ALL NEW ‘Jungle Lookout’ play area! Swing and climb like the lemurs inside the giant wooden tree forts. Conquer the obstacle courses, climb the wooden jungle huts and take a ride on the gigantic slides. This is also a great place to unwind in the shade of the trees and enjoy a family picnic.
Big Bug Bonanza | 7-11th August
Throughout the week our education team will be holding lots of fun activities to raise awareness about insects and creepie crawlies, and show people what fascinating creatures exist in the bug world.
What are the aims of Big Bug Bonanza?
- To raise awareness of the importance of invertebrate life in ecosystems
- To elicit positive attitudes to invertebrates by the general public
- To encourage positive behaviours towards invertebrates
After a 2 year absence, Yorkshire Wildlife Park’s hugely popular “Safari Nights” are back!
Running every Saturday in August, the events offer extended opening hours, providing a unique opportunity to see some of the world’s rarest and most at risk animals after hours, while enjoying top live entertainment as well as a family-friendly fireworks finale.
Summer Ranger Holiday Club
Are you stuck for something for your little monkeys to do over the summer holidays? Tired of them being glued to the TV, iPhone’s, iPad’s and consoles? Well look no further! Exclusive to child Annual Pass holders, the Summer Ranger Holiday Club offers a fantastic learning opportunity for children between the ages of 8 and 11.
Running every Tuesday in August, our Summer Ranger Holiday Club’s are a fantastic way to get your children engaged and learning more about the natural world!
