All guests must make an online reservation prior to visiting.

In line with the latest UK Government’s announcement, from the 19th July we will continue to encourage all our guests and staff to wear facemasks when indoors and follow the principle of hand – space – face.

Day Tickets: 

To make a booking click ‘Book Tickets’ and follow the simple steps to make your online ticket booking. You will be required to select a date for your visit and an an arrival time. Entry time slots allow you a window of 1 hour to enter the park. Once you have entered the park you may enjoy Yorkshire Wildlife Park for the remainder of the day. 

Members:

Members can make an online reservation prior to visiting here. It is highly recommended to book well in advance of your planned visit to avoid disappointment due to temporary restrictions on reservation numbers. We sincerely thank you for your continued support during these difficult times.

Bookings

Here are some of the safety precautions that will remain in place from Monday 19th July:

  • We have reviewed all of our pathways so please pay attention to the signs. Only the Tiger / Okapi Walkway will remain one-way only.
  • The Giraffe house has re-opened.
  • The upstairs section of Leopard Heights has re-opened.
  • Washing hands using hand sanitiser is really important – there are plenty of wash stations round the park and opportunities to use hand sanitiser.

Day Admission tickets cannot be purchased online on the day of your visit. There are however, a limited number of tickets available at our guest services building for an additional charge of £5pp.

We ask that visitors adhere to current government guidelines in terms of group numbers. At this time we are not taking discounted group bookings.

Memberships

Members are required to obtain a free reservation time slot prior to visiting. Entry time slots are strictly limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Bookings can be made online via our website. Hit 'Members Day Admission' under 'Tickets & Passes' on the main navigation menu.

Your Membership will automatically be activated after purchase (or redemption of a gift membership), please allow around one hour after purchase for the system to update before attempting to make your first visit reservation.

You can purchase Membership renewals online by pressing 'Tickets & Passes' on the main navigation menu > select Membership > Renew Membership. Alternatively memberships can be renewed over the phone: 01302 535057.

On arrival please visit our Guest Services Office located by the park entrance where we can reissue you with a new card. The cost for a new card is £2.50.

You can redeem your vouchers online by adding the relevant Membership items to your basket and simply input your voucher number(s) in the discount code box during the checkout process. This will discount the relevant items to £0.00 in your basket. Then complete the purchase process to receive your membership number(s) and confirmation via email.

On your visit

We recommend that it is good practice to have a face covering available to wear when necessary during your visit. 

We kindly ask all guests to bring their own PPE and follow all recommended personal hygiene instructions throughout their visit.

A limited amount of PPE will be available to purchase at the park. We therefore encourage all visitors to bring their own.

Food and drink locations are available with outdoor and some indoor seating, please ask upon arrival for today’s offerings.

All toilet facilities on park are open with additional safety restrictions and sanitisation measures in place.

All the majority of play areas are open. Some restrictions in place such as staggered opening times are in place to allow deep cleaning between sessions. Please enquire on then day of your visit for more information. 

Please be advised that the Zoom Super Slide Barn will remain closed due to maintenance issues.

We do not have ATM facilities however card payments including contactless and mobile (such as Apple Pay) are available at all outlets.

All of the animals will have access to their reserves as usual. All indoor viewing areas must remain closed the public at this time.

A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available to pre-book for FREE. Alternatively you may prefer a mobility scooter which you can hire when booking a ticket for a small cost of £20

There is a lot we still don’t know about Covid-19 which is one strain of many coronaviruses that exist and occur in many different species. We are taking every precaution for staff, guests and animals and monitoring research that comes out to understand its effects on different species. Our Animal team always maintain the highest biosecurity protocols when working with the animals and you might see them wearing PPE if they are working in and around the animal houses.
